Green Feet Brewing Company | Holly Jolly
January 27, 2018 | Justin PennelNow that the holidays have come and gone, I’m sure many of us can look back and reminisce about some amazing food and beers we had. One of the beers that was the highlight of my holiday beer drinking, was Holly Jolly (AKA Christmas in a glass) from Green Feet Brewing Company. Green Feet has been open since the spring of 2016, so 2017 was Green Feet’s second time around brewing Holly Jolly. They somehow managed to up the ante from the 2016 batch, which was the best pecan beer I had tried.

Almanac Beer Co. | Cherry Vanilla Dogpatch
January 10, 2018 | Anna ScottMy passion for beer has been full of trial and error, forced experiments and a lot of stubbornness. That picky five-year old appetite can still be found 22 years later. Try and give me a sliver of tomato? Don’t even think about it. And if those Sour Patch Kids aren’t the watermelon ones—no thank you. I mean honestly, the watermelon Sour Patch Kids are life. The fact I’m sitting here with a sour beer in hand deserves at least one high-five (or maybe an award)?
While my fridge is stocked up with all the winter goodies I could possibly want, I’m still on this huge sour beer kick that doesn’t seem to be going away! While visiting San Francisco over the summer before the big move, Almanac Beer Co. wasn’t actually even on my mind. And let me tell you… that was a mistake! While hunting for donuts in the Mission District, I got a glimpse of the Almanac taproom and had to stop in. Not only do they have an amazing and beautiful bar, but also their tap list of 15 beers is seriously on point and so is their food menu! Read More

Reuben’s Brews | Holiday Gose
December 13, 2017 | Justin CarterI’m going to start this off by saying I am not a fan of the holiday season. Suddenly, I’m expected to be merry and in good spirits, which is just not the way I work. Bribe me with a winter warmer and we might be able to talk, slip me an Imperial Stout and we will be best of friends. Like a lot of you, alcohol makes this season bearable. To quote National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, “I had a lot of help from Jack Daniels.”
Stickman Brews | Obesity Epidemic
December 12, 2017 | Kurt Bevilacqua“Stickman Brews focuses on American twists of Belgian-inspired beers among other things.”
Smack dab on the middle of the homepage on their website, you will come across this self-description written in all caps. Obesity Epidemic, a Belgian-style stout, truly backs up that claim. This beer fuses those two cultures in perfect harmony.

Other Half Brewing & Sand City Brewing | All Infinity Everything
December 4, 2017 | Lora KormosStart spreading the news. I’m leaving today. I want to be a part of it, a New York beer line! Yes, that’s right. On my most recent trip to New York City, I woke up ridiculously early to make the drive for a the release of All Infinity Everything at Other Half Brewing Company in Brooklyn. Trust me, when you see this brewery is doing a can release while you are planning on being in the area, you go. Read More

Odd13 Brewing | n00b
November 22, 2017 | Jared HardyI’m that guy. I’ve been him for a long time now. I’ve known it for a long time, but didn’t care. I went with it. I’m the guy who no matter what always just wants to try the NEW beer. It’ll be sitting right next to a beer that I know I love and have even ranted and raved about to my friends. And yet, I can’t help myself; I grab the shiny new beer next to it on the shelf. I’ve never really had a go-to beer.
That has finally changed.

Night Shift Brewing | Bennington
November 15, 2017 | Zach BenardThis year, the crisp, fall air I know and love has struggled to find its way to Massachusetts. Drinking saisons and tropical IPAs seemed suitable well into October. But now that the crisp air is starting to steadily settle in, I can feel free to indulge in stouts. The Massachusetts-native Night Shift Brewing knows fall well, and it’s certainly reflected in their beers. Read More
