Distanced Yet Together: 12th Annual Denver Rare Beer Tasting Goes Virtual

While many beer festivals have been canceled due to the pandemic, the 12th annual Denver Rare Beer Tasting is taking a page out of Great American Beer Festival’s book and will be taking place virtually the weekend of September 25-27. It will feature a live, online event portion, remote brewery releases, and an auction to raise funds for the Pints for Prostates campaign. Over 70 leading craft breweries have already committed to participating in the event.

An Inaugural to Remember
It’s been almost two weeks since the Side Project Invitational, and attendees’ heads are still spinning over the experience. Subtitled as “A Festival of Barrel-Aged Stouts & Barleywines,” it was immediately advertised as not for the faint of heart. Strategically placed on Super Bowl Sunday, February 2nd, as the kickoff to Side Project’s annual Stout Week, it brought people from all over the United States to Maplewood, Missouri to see what all the hype was about.

Inaugural WeldWerks Invitational Joins Country’s Elite Beer Festival Experiences

My eyes have seen the glory and I have tasted the nectar of the gods. Sidebar, if you’ve consistently read my posts through the years, you’ll know that I have a tendency to deal in hyperbole when it comes to great beer. That said, all exaggeration aside, this weekend’s inaugural WeldWerks Invitational Festival was the complete package and contends for the title of the best new beer festival in the country.
