“Hey will you grab me that beer with the little troll wearing a sailor’s outfit in front of the unicorn attacking what it looks to be Princess Peach on it?” said no one ever until after I wrote this post. Three Floyds Broo Doo hop harvest ale lures it’s prospective drinkers in with its trippy bottle and captures them with it’s just as unique flavor.

I understand why most guys/bros may be hesitant to buy this beer because it looks like the lovechild of My Little Pony and Lisa Frank (shout out to all my girls who grew up in the 90’s!). In other words, it’s girly. But trust me. It’s also good. And it’s 7% ABV—  a strong drink for how light it tastes. While one might expect to pour out rainbows and butterflies, this beer actually has a nice coppery, caramel color topped off with a cream-colored foamy head. The aroma of this ale reflects the sassy bottle more so than the color with scents of tropical and lemony fruits. Yes, I know, still girly. However, these fruity flavors are complimented nicely with spicy hops (not so girly). Overall, this beer is light and fresh and quite tasty. So try it for the awesome flavor or simply for the awesome bottle, which I don’t recommend throwing away. Mine is placed atop my dresser adding a nostalgic sense of my childhood. Gotta love the 90’s.
