2023 Colorado Pint Day Locations Includes Over 200 Participating Breweries

Pints of beer

Colorado Pint Day returns for its eighth anniversary next week on April 12, 2023, and this year’s event will feature a record number of participating breweries. Hosted by the Colorado Brewers Guild (CBG), the statewide event gives craft beer lovers yet another reason to head to their favorite brewery to enjoy a beer and take home acommemorative glass.

Participating breweries will be selling 2023 commemorative pint glasses and with $1 from every glass benefitting the not for profit Colorado Brewers Guild. The event helps further the guild’s mission to support and strengthen craft beer in Colorado.

With over 200 breweries participating, this year’s event will be the largest ever. “When we started this passion project seven years ago, we launched with only thirty or so participating breweries so it’s mind-blowing to see how much it has grown,” says CBG Executive Director Shawnee Adelson.

Local Design for Colorado Pint Day

In addition to supporting craft breweries, the guild showcases the work of a local artist every year.. The guild selects the glass design from work submitted by member brewery employees. For the second year in a row, the guild selected Anna Long of Norlo Design to design the glass.

Long works for Copper Kettle Brewery and is honored that the guild again chose her work. “The recognition I have gotten two years in a row is amazing and I am so thankful for it. The design from last year and this year are drastically different style-wise, so it means a lot to me that people relate to and enjoy both of my designs,” she says.

The Great Colorado Road Trip

This year’s theme is The Great Colorado Road Trip and highlights all the wonderful things to see and do in the state. Long’s design showcases everything at the core of the Colorado lifestyle. It includes whimsical ‘pint people’ enjoying traditional Colorado activities like hiking, skiing, music, and of course road-tripping. Long explains, “I wanted to incorporate all of the well-known Colorado sights in one design but have some fun with it.”

Aside from the opportunity to add another stylish glass to their collections, Pint Day motivates craft beer lovers to take a trip to their local taproom or explore new beers at one of the state’s 400+ breweries. “If you have a favorite local brewery or are looking to try a new brewery out that’s on your radar, Colorado Pint Day is a great way to support independent and local craft beer,” says Adelson.

The supply of glasses is limited, which seems like a great excuse to knock off work early for some day drinking on April 12. Where will you celebrate this year’s 2023 Colorado Pint Day?
