The field is officially set for the 2025 Collaboration Fest and this year’s event is shaping up to be an all-timer. With just over two months until one of Colorado’s signature beer festivals returns to take center stage, the Colorado Brewer’s Guild has released its initial list of collaborating breweries, including a record-breaking 180+ participants.

This year’s 2025 Collaboration Fest is taking place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m. at The Westin Westminster at 10600 Westminster Blvd, Westminster, CO. The event will feature over 130 beers including collaborations with 31 out-of-state craft breweries as well as one brewery from Mexico.

Because of the experimental nature of this festival, participants typically utilize this platform as a chance to showcase innovative new beer styles, stranger-than-normal ingredients, and innovative new techniques. This year’s pour list will once again feature innovative as well as out-of-the-box entries including a Cream Ale inspired by horchata, as well as a Wet Hop Pilsner featuring wet hop Spalter Select hops from a farm in Germany, with many more to be announced in the coming weeks.

A few of the more notable collaboration pairings include milieu fermentation pairing up with Wanderment Brewing, two of Denver’s best new breweries to open in the last year, Cheluna Brewing with Oaxaca Brewing out of Mexico, Cohesion Brewing teaming up with Schilling Beer, two of the country’s more celebrated Lager producers, Cannonball Creek teaming up with Shred Beer, which should make any hop head rejoice, Comrade Brewing alongside Fritz Family Farm, another exciting duo for Lager lovers, New Image and Breakside Brewing as well as New Image with Lyric Brewing, a local riser gaining a ton of attention for those in the know, the Colorado Media collab between local media members alongside Lady Justice Brewing and Joyride Brewing, WeldWerks Brewing teaming up with another national giant in Trillium, and Purpose Brewing’s collab with California Wild Ales for those who are fans of sour and wild ales, with many others that should excite.

“Collaboration Fest has grown to become one of the top beer festivals in the nation and it is received so well because it is by and large a brewers’ beer festival,” says CBG Communications Manager Carrie Knose Wilson. “The festival can often be a launching pad that sparks a friendship between collaborating breweries or a way for two breweries to pair their respective strengths. Regardless of why breweries team up, the imaginative talent that is shown at Collaboration Fest has no bounds!”

Collaboration Fest tickets may be purchased online. Early entry tickets cost $99.67 (includes fees), general admission tickets cost $77.75 (includes fees), and designated driver tickets cost $44.87 (includes fees).
