Pour List & Can’t-Miss Beers to Try at the 2025 Collaboration Fest
Throughout its eleven year existence, the Colorado Brewers Guild’s Collaboration Fest has not only captured the incredible spirit of camaraderie and togetherness that helped fuel the explosion of the craft beer industry for nearly three decades, but it has also served as a platform for experimentation and innovation for Colorado’s diverse brewing landscape.
By participating in a festival focused on the creation of one-off, one-of-a-kind releases, breweries have often seized the opportunity to broaden their scope to test out innovative new techniques and ingredients and experiment beyond the boundary of traditional styles.

This year’s 2025 Collaboration Fest is taking place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m. at The Westin Westminster at 10600 Westminster Blvd, Westminster, CO. The event will feature over 130 beers, including collaborations with 31 out-of-state craft breweries, as well as one brewery from Mexico.
And while this year’s fest will once again showcase some truly bizarre, culinary-inspired beer creations, fans of Hoppy Lagers will be in paradise as this year’s lineup features nearly 20 iterations on Hoppy Lagers, West Coast Pilsners, New Zealand Lagers, etc.
To help preview this year’s fest, we broke down some of the can’t-miss beers to try at the 2025 Collaboration Fest and be sure to keep scrolling for the full initial pour list.

Lagers
Prost Brewing & Templin Family Brewing
West Hop Pils – Wet Hop Pilsner
More info: One of Colorado’s premier lager brewers will be teaming up with another accomplished lager producer out of Utah to showcase a West Hop Pilsner in April… In order to accomplish this feat, they used wet hop spalter select hops from the farm in Germany.
Danico Brewing & Casey Brewing
Orange Glove Service – Imperial German Pilsner
The founders of both Danico and Casey Brewing are no strangers to lagers as Danico’s team began their careers at Anheuser Busch, and Troy Casey first began brewing at AC Golden, a subsidiary of Coors. It should be interesting to see how their collective experience in brewing lagers translates in the form of an Imperial German Pilsner.
Ratio Beerworks & ISM Brewing
Local Pandemonium – West Coast Pilsner
ISM Brewing out of Long Beach, CA is has been one of the hottest names in beer in recent years and the team at Ratio continues to level up locally as well. We can’t wait to try their take on one of the most popular styles in a West Coast Pilsner.
Comrade Brewing & Fritz Family Brewers
Drive-Thru Closed – West Coast Lager
Two absolute powerhouses in the Front Range within their respective style specialties, Comrade has continuously been praised as one of the best hoppy beer producers in the area, and Fritz Family Brewers is quietly one of the best lager producers in the region. Combining forces in the form of another West Coast Lager, this should be a knockout!

Cannonball Creek Brewing & Shred (CA)
Alpha Blaster – West Coast IPA
Like the aforementioned ISM, Shred has also been one of the hottest names in brewing in recent years. We’ve been lucky to get a taste here locally with limited drops during GABF in years past, but this team up with another perennial workhorse of hoppy beers in Cannonball Creek is sure to be a hit.

Over Yonder Brewing, Cannonball Creek, Mountain Toad, Mad Macks, Barrels & Bottles, & Propagate Lab
goldENschlager cinnamon lager – Herb and Spice Pilsner with Gold Flakes
Similar to the previous entry, it seems there’s a micro fascination in translating popular cinnamon-flavored spirits into beer interpretations. Just don’t cut your throat on the gold flakes or you may only last an hour at the fest.
Verboten Brewing & Gravity Brewing
Peanut Butter Sriracha Imperial Porter
It’s beginning to feel like some of these beer styles were generated randomly with ingredients on a dart board, but honestly when Verboten Brewing dreams something crazy up, we’re willing to give it a try.

Cheluna Brewing & Oaxaca Brewing (MX)

If you’ve followed PorchDrinking at all over the last five years, you’ll know we’re pretty big fans of Firestone Walker, but Odell Brewing was one of the original breweries that made us fall in love with craft beer.
