The Grammys Happened

Here is my summary of the event in two videos:

That’s all you need to know that you might not have heard about already.

Prince and the Paupers

Prince is suing 22 fans for a cool million bucks each for bootlegging his concerts and putting the videos online.  On the one hand, these weren’t just like fans that put up 20 second videos on Facebook with captions like ‘oMg just saw PRINCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’.  They were uploaded to bootlegging sites.  So there’s that. But on the other hand, seriously, Prince?

Literally wrote the above, went back to AV club’s homepage and Prince had already dropped the lawsuit.  The bootleggers took everything down and who the fuck cares anymore.

Because I wasted everyone’s time with the above

The White House is being forced to weigh in on Bieber’s tomfoolery

A petition was filed with the White House last week calling for the deportation of a one Mr. Justin Bieber.  The petition reads:

“We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation’s youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”

The petition received the requisite 100,000 signatures to force the White House to respond.  Let me reiterate that: The White House must say whether or not they plan on revoking Justin Bieber’s green card.  America, ladies and gentlemen.
