It’s been rumored for a while now, but the announcement is finally out of Nickel Creek Reuniting. Chris Thile, Sara Watkins and brother Sean Watkins, are reuniting for the first time since they split in 2007. Trio not only announced that they’ll be kicking off their tour at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium with a 2 night engagement on April 18-19 (tickets go on sale Feb 7), but they’ve also teased a new song from their upcoming album.

Other already announced tour stops include New York, Boston, Washington D.C., Chicago, Oakland, CA, and Telluride, CO. Check out the PorchDrinking Playlist of a few of our favorite Nickel Creek tunes.
