Phase Three Pixel and Pals Worldwide

Pixel & Pals

Phase Three Brewing Company is launching 3 collaboration beers in 1 box via 1 simultaneous worldwide release with their newest project, Pixel and Pals. This worldwide event is taking place this Saturday, May 17th.

Phase Three teamed up with North Park Beer Co., Omnipollo, and Trillium Brewing to craft these three collaborations inspired by each brewery’s flagship Hazy IPA. Each beer is mashing together Phase Three’s flagship Hazy IPA, Pixel, with the other brewery’s flagship Hazy IPA to craft a new, delicious beer. The three collaboration beers and Pixel are available in a mixed four-pack for the release.

Worldwide Release

There are 40 locations worldwide where this event is taking place. Phase Three has also crafted some fun swag for this event with unique glassware and keychains, so if you’re planning to attend one of them, go early to try to get your hands on these!

The 40 locations are:

Pixel and Pals: The Beers

Pixel:

Phase Three’s flagship Hazy IPA with Citra hops, oats, wheat and Pilsner Malt.

Featured Hops: Citra

Pixel Point

Pixel Point

“Fort Point, an iconic beer that helped start a movement within craft beer. An inspiration to my early years of brewing and ultimately the inspiration to what eventually became Pixel comes full circle. For this collab, I worked with JC at Trillium to create a hazy IPA that represented mostly threads from Fort Point, but also left room to weave in threads of Pixel. For this batch we blended our lot of Citra with some of Trillium’s hand-selected Citra. A leaner grain bill allows the hops to shine. We’re stoked about this one and proud to have worked with JC and Trillium on this project.” – Co-owner and Brewer Shaun Berns

This is the only beer we cracked into in time for publication, and boy was it a great choice. This is a super Hazy IPA. The hand-selected Citra from each brewery really takes this to the next level. We are incredibly impressed and can’t wait to try the other beers in this mixed-4 release!

Pixel Fata

“A brewery that inspires us, led by our friend Henok, hailing from Sweden, Omnipollo. With beautiful, well-thought-out beers and stunning labels, they’ve made their way to the top. We smashed their Fatamorgana process and ingredients with Pixel to create this super silky, Citra and Nelson Sauvin hopped Hazy IPA. Expect notes of tropical fruit and white grape.” – Co-owner and Brewer Shaun Berns

Art is Pixel

“Kelsey, our friend from North Park Brewing in San Diego, is an absolute hop wizard. Making some of the best hoppy beers on the West Coast, we drew inspiration from a Hazy IPA of theirs called Art is Hard. A heavy, heavy dose of malted oats drive the body on this beer. A dense, frothy body loaded with Simcoe, Motueka, and a strong focus on Citra.” – Co-owner and Brewer Shaun Berns

Featured Hops: Citra, Simcoe, Motueka

Be sure to head out this weekend to the host event nearest you to try these 4 fantastic beers and celebrate Pixel and Pals!
