Let’s talk about the IPA. As one of the most #trendy beers this year, recently, IPAs have become a brew of innovation and proliferation. With dozens of sub-categories ranging from Red IPAs to double IPAs to Wild IPAs, this week’s playlist, “Indie Pale Ale”, capitalizes on the musical analog to IPAs: Indie Electronica. The indie rock scene observed a similar growth in subgenres over the past several years, and its amalgamation with electronic music has resulted in music with a tremendous down-to-earth vibe. What else could be more perfect for sipping on an IPA?!
