This week’s edition of Beerstagram is dedicated to hops. It is time for our annual hop harvest in many places in the Northern Hemisphere, hop hop hooray! These bright green beauties are surely bound to make for some incredible batches of beer. Be sure to check out local breweries in your area, many of them make fresh hop IPAs around this time and they are surely a treat to be savored and enjoyed. Cheers!
This week’s Beerstagram is a mixed bag theme-wise and that is okay because there are plenty of nice photos nonetheless. This week’s beers are from a little bit of everywhere it seems. Cheers to another week!
Are you binge watching the Olympics this week and wishing you were winning some gold? Perhaps your gold is in the version of golden beer? Regardless, it’s been fun to watch! This week also marked National S’mores Day (August 10th) and Denver’s Our Mutual Friend is currently doing a collaboration brew with Brazilian brewery, Koala San Brew which happens to be not too far from Rio, appropriate timing! We also got a couple of #porchdrinking shout out tags this week as well, hooray! Cheers to another week of beers and photos!
August 4th marked National IPA Day so of course this week’s edition of Beerstragram had to be all about IPA! This one goes out to all of you hopheads out there, I hope you all got to imbibe in your favorite bitter beverage! Cheers!
The theme for this week’s Beerstagram seems to be the outdoors, more specifically the beach! It seems like a lot of folks were enjoying themselves by the water this past week! Now only if Colorado had a beach… Be sure to keep tagging @porchdrinkingco in your photos each week and enjoy this last weekend of July! Cheers!
Damn, we are back at it again with those sweet Instagrams! We are already halfway through July. Please slow down summer, we still need to drink you in for a bit longer! Cheers to another week of nice photos including a shot from the MLB Allstar Game that happened on Tuesday!
Here we are in July already! We hope that you had a nice long holiday weekend and celebrated Independence Day in the best way possible! From the looks of Instagram this week some more tasty beers were consumed, lots of food was eaten at BBQs, several breweries were visited, plenty of traveling adventures were had, and many fireworks were set off! Be sure to keep posting those nice photos and be sure to tag us in them if you’d like a chance to be featured! Cheers!
Somehow it is already the last week of June?! Where is the year going? With the looks of this week’s Beerstagrams many of you are again out and about exploring nature and taking in the views with a craft beer in hand! We also have a few nice shots from breweries and there is even a beer-inspired nod to Shark Week in this week’s round up as well! Cheers!
From the looks of this week’s Beerstagram, MANY beers were enjoyed outside! As to be expected with the first week of summer kicking off, we couldn’t be more excited. It is most definitely porch drinking season now, hooray! It also seems like a lot of IPAs were popular this week.
This week’s installment of Beerstagram seems to have gone to the dogs, who always make great drinking buddies, right? We also have some non-dog shots for all of you cat people out there! If you would like a chance to be featured be sure to tag @porchdrinkingco in your photos each week!
We are now in our 2nd week of our re-installment of Beerstagram! If you would like a chance to be featured be sure to tag @porchdrinkingco in your photos! We are on the hunt for some great beer-inspired shots each week! Cheers to another great week of pretty photos and tasty beer!
Are there two things bigger right now than social media and craft beer? Just about everyone is on social media in some way or another and the craft beer industry is seeing a new brewery open up seemingly every week. For this week’s Ultimate 6er I paired six of the most popular social media networks with a beer that I think it best represents.
One of the MANY reasons that I love Instagram as a medium is that the app allows you to tell a story with an image. Yeah, yeah, “a picture is worth 1,000 words” is inevitably running through your head right now, but let me explain.
Many people mourned the day that Facebook bought Instagram for a whopping 1 billion dollars (to be read in a Dr. Evil voice) a little over a year ago. They saw the sale as the beginning of the end for the independent app, and luckily their fears have been largely unfounded to date. True to his word, Mark Zuckerberg hasn’t changed much about the service in the intervening 12 or so months. That being said, the first signs of Facebook interference…um…influence are beginning to show.
If you’re like me, you have a bit of social media overload. Between checking my Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram feeds, AND making sure I’m caught up on my Google Reader, I can’t keep up with everything that’s going on. That all changed when I discovered Flipboard.
