PorchDrinking Playlist: 90’s Night Edition
My roommate Shane’s Birthday is this Friday. He’s turning 26 years old. Emphasis on old. Last year to commemorate his 25th we threw an 80’s party that goes down in the record books. This year we decided to progress a decade by dust off the starter jackets, bust out the super soakers, unwrap the dunkaroos and throw down the pogs. Originally this week’s playlist was going to be Songs White People Love … alas this 90s list just couldn’t be contained any longer. We’ll follow up our 90s throwback with a 90s roundtable discussion tomorrow. So without further ado here are 57 of the best 90s tunes. I decided to progress from the slower to the punk, to the ultra pop to soul. Let me know if I missed anything.

Missing No Rain by Blind Melon, All-Star by Smash Mouth and Steal My Sunshine by Len, but considering that’s a decades worth of classics, great job! Very pleased. Especially with the Fastball inclusion.

“Nuthin’ but a G Thang” by Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg must make this list. “Loser” (or “Where it’s At”) by Beck, “Creep” by Radiohead, and “Say it Ain’t So” (or “Buddy Holly”) by Weezer would have made my list too.
