Ninkasi to Celebrate Return of BBA Ground Control with Alamo Drafthouse

To boldly go where no beer has gone before, in this day in age is a pretty dubious task. That said, Eugene, OR’s Ninkasi Brewing raised the bar in 2014 when they launched six samples of brewers yeast into space and back and successfully brewed a beer afterwards aptly named Ground Control.
On Tuesday night, Ninkasi Brewing will team up with Alamo Drafthouse Sloans Lake in Denver to celebrate the third iteration of this special space beer. Barfly, Alamo’s in-house bar, will feature a three year vertical, side by side tasting of Ground Control, a barrel-aged Imperial Stout brewed with Oregon hazelnuts, star anise and cocoa nibs, from 17′, 16′ and 15′.
Additionally when you order a flight of the Barrel-Aged Ground Control verticals you’ll also receive a VIP voucher good for a free Ninkasi beer valid 12/14-12/17. Drop into Barfly at Alamo Drafthouse Sloans Lake to try this unique beer that is truly out of this world.
