Adroit Theory’s Dawn of a Dark Day | Five Year Anniversary Pour List
I was first made aware of Adroit Theory in August while I was at the Virginia Craft Brewers Fest in Charlottesville, VA. Their BLVCK Celebration, an imperial porter with Oreo cookies, honey, caramel and toasted coconut blew me completely away, and I’ve had my hoppy eyes on their beer ever since.
Five months later, I’ve been able to get my hands on the Death of Cthulu, a Russian imperial stout, as well as the EBK and I. Adam–both delicious, hazy imperial IPAs.
Adroit will be celebrating their five-year anniversary, Dawn of a Dark Day Festival V, on Saturday, January 26 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Adroit Theory, known for their dark and distorted label art, will reflect these characteristics during their anniversary with a full-blown Metal Fest from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event features sets by doom-metal band Foehammer, and death-metal bands Outer Heaven and Horrendous.
The tap list is as insane as the set list!! Not only will Adroit Theory have over 50 beers flowing, but they will also have pours from the likes of Burial, Mumford, The Bruery and Kings Brewing.
There are general admission tickets available as well as VIP tickets, which include some amazing perks; one free additional guest, 20 drink tickets, 12 beer releases in a custom case, 2 exclusive glassware and a breakfast buffet.
