Savannah River Brewing Co. is very excited to be partnering with Chef Kyle McCloud of Mack’s Street Eats for the brewery’s first ever beer dinner. They will be opening their doors for guests to experience an exquisite five-course meal paired alongside their flagship beers and an exclusively brewed beer for the event. The “Fall Beer Dinner”, as they’ve optimistically named it, is set for November 8, 2017 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.
When a brewery comes out of the gate with a Czech-style pilsner, you know they absolutely mean business! The Augusta, Georgia-based Savannah River Brewing Company held nothing back during their grand opening this weekend. So with a six-pack in hand after a great Georgia brewery tour, I had to let you know what I think!
Craft beer is all about new experiences. The craft beer industry has taken a goods / commodities based enterprise and evolved it into an experience based business model. This is evident in brewery hosted events, taprooms/bier gardens and beers unbound by categories. This influence has extended past the brewers and imbibers to the retailers who are dreaming up new and innovative ideas to draw their customers into the door and encourage them to return many times thereafter.
With Preseason on most American sports fan’s minds, it is only fitting that the last lazy Sunday on the fairway was as exciting as it was. It had a little something for everyone: a little bit of rain, some bright colors to combat the late shadows (Thanks, Rickie), and quite the tasteful ornithological variety of sorts, with birdies and eagles and even ducks.
