Left Hand Brewing Co., a bastion of independent craft beer, threw a weekend-long party on Aug. 14-15, 2021 to celebrate the opening of their new outdoor venue, The Garden. The Longmont, CO-based brewery, a top 50 U.S. craft brewery well known for its Nitro series, constructed an inviting, 41,000 square foot open-air event space right next to their taproom. The dog-friendly space is anchored by a custom-made ROXBOX bar with six draft lines and plenty of fridge space for a variety of canned beverages.
With a new “it” brewery seemingly opening every week, it’s easy to overlook the quintessential breweries whose tap handles already dominate Colorado’s ever-growing craft beer scene. But it’s not just small, nimble breweries canning and bottling experimental beers that cross style and ingredient guidelines.

Large, sometimes cavernous confines that house much more than just a bar and gathering area. Well, if Wynkoop is on one edge of the spectrum, Oskar Blues Brewery is on the other.
