When we talk about flagship beers, it seems only natural to think of simpler, classic beer styles – an IPA, a lager, or maybe a wheat ale. However, TailGate Brewery decided to go a different route altogether – one of their most popular brews happens to be their Peanut Butter Milk Stout, and it’s not a small-batch seasonal beer either; they brew it year-round.
Peanut butter fans will find a lot to love in Downhill Brewing Saturday Nut Fever Peanut Butter Brown. This brew packs in a strong dose of nutty flavors along with complementary chocolate and roast notes. The overall experience is much like peanut butter on dark chocolate.
Easter will be different this year. While Easter mass, celebrations and social gatherings will all-but be cancelled due to current social distancing guidelines, this time of the year still gives you an opportunity to stock up on sugary sweets and decadent chocolate during your weekly grocery run. Ursula Brewery in Aurora, Colorado released “PB&J Porter” last year in March, then it won a gold medal at the Colorado State Fair, so they re-brewed it and called it “Crustless”. Skip to October, Imperial Crustless was brewed, they sold some shirts, glasses, lunch boxes, and a little PB&J sandwich as a garnish.
