What We’re Drinking | April 15th, 2016
Lanie Novack

You’ve done it again, beer dweebs. You’ve successfully made it through another work week. You know, I’ve been thinking about “success” a lot lately — what exactly does it mean to be successful in life? Success is something different for everyone, sure, but I feel like we all can’t help but get a little caught up in what our lives are “supposed” to look like. I know I do. It’s really important that we remember to appreciate and celebrate even the smallest of victories. Maybe you got a new job, maybe you went to yoga, or maybe you finally remembered to take the trash out (Tuesday? Thursday? Uh… ) Either way, you’re doing a really good job, friends. This weekend, we drink to you. *clink*

One Claw | Westbrook Brewing Co.

“Westbrook Brewing Co. One Claw – interesting hoppy rye pale ale. Great warm weather beer – totally crushable!” — Danele Bova

35 K | Against the Grain Brewery

“A solid Milk Stout with crazy ATG label art!  A thinner body layered by a smooth toasty texture. Cheers!” — Chris Hollands

Abbey of the Holy Goats

“Abbey of the Holy Goats, brand spanking new Belgian brewery in Roswell, Georgia. Cheers from a few of us at PD Southeast!” — Jess Baker

Cack-a-lacky | Fullsteam Brewery

“Has an incredible gingery aroma, matched by a sweet balance of delicate flowery, woody hops” — Scott Johnson

Nemesis | 2 Row Brewing

2 Row - Nemisis-min

“Super smooth, hoppy Pale Ale. A must in the household. Very drinkable. Very delish.” — Sylvia Hollands

Buried Sun | TRVE Brewing Company

“The first swig in my Denver beer acquisitions: TRVE’s Buried Sun! Very fizzy, acidic, with a strong fruitiness. A great warm weather brew. A great choice I made during my Mr B’s stop near Coor’s Field.” — Kevin Risner

Pedialyte | Abbott Laboratories

“Water and Pedialyte. Still recovering from Terrapin’s 14th Anniversary Festival, and some post-festival shenanigans and some pre-festival too.” — Johnathan Pylant
