PorchDrinking’s Weekly Denver Beer Beat | June 8th, 2016
The Denver Beer Beat sheds light on news of brewery openings, special tappings, firkins and one-off batches, bottle releases, dinners, pairings, etc.
Today is National Name Your Poison Day. We think everyday should be a pick your poison type of day. So, pick your poison all week long and figure out where you want to snag a barleypop because there are a lot of beer tappings and bottle releases happening!
On Saturday, we will be at the ManCraftival Market in Denver among a myriad of talented makers as Ink Lounge brings back the carnival games, freak show, lights, clowns, music, bobbing for whiskey – and more. Stop by and say hi! Cory is giving out free high fives and viking handshakes!
On Saturday, it’s National Rosé Day so pick up a bottle to chug on your front stoop or bring it to your significant others house before you have dinner. Don’t chug it on their front stoop; that may give them the wrong idea. We always implore you to drink responsibly.
With that being said, Ska Brewing turns 21 in September and tickets just went on sale so you better find a place to crash in Durango!
A HUGE shout out to our homies at Great Divide Brewing Co. as they are celebrating 22 years of beer this week! Happy Anni, you guyz!
Lastly, Tuesday is National Bourbon Day. You know what to do. Drink bourbon, drink bourbon barrel aged beers, repeat and recycle.
Check out the rest of the calendar here to plan your week accordingly! You can export events to your iCal and/or sort them by your favorite brewery/beer bar, by the day or by the topic with a quick search for key words.
Whatever you plan to do, make sure you plan appropriate transportation and drink responsibly… use two hands.
Cheers to ye and may eternity find us in as good company as this! Stay Thirsty and Keep Denver Beer’d!
