PorchDrinking’s Weekly Denver Beer Beat | July 6th, 2016
The Denver Beer Beat sheds light on news of brewery openings, special tappings, firkins and one-off batches, bottle releases, dinners, pairings, etc.
Listen, you drinkers, you brewheads. Craft Beer is a drink who would not take it anymore. A barleypop who stood up against the scum, the BIG BEER swill, the dogs, the filth, the shit. Here is a can of ale who stood up. Gaw. I love Taxi Driver. ANYWAY . . .
What have you done for your local brewer today?! Time to take back your city and go buy some beer already! Our calendar should help you navigate the sea of suds as you take on the July heat!
Highlights for the week:
July 6th is National Fried Chicken Day. Buy chicken, get free beer.
Their is a beer dinner in the burbs, an anniversary out east, a sour beer tap takeover for those pucker fans, and a rendezvous in the mountains.
West End is hosting it’s annual Jul-IPA festivities, Bruz Beers is hosting their Grand Opening, Alpine Dog is hosting a beer & munchie pairing for the 710 holiday (that’s OIL upside down for those that don’t know/partake), and Avery is unleashing the Beast.
Check out these events and many more on our Denver Beer Beat calendar! You can export events to your iCal and/or sort them by your favorite brewery/beer bar, by the day or by the topic with a quick search for key words.
Whatever you plan to do, make sure you plan appropriate transportation and drink responsibly… use two hands. Don’t drink and drive!
Cheers to ye and may eternity find us in as good company as this! Stay Thirsty and Keep Denver Beer’d!
