Ultimate 6er | Beers to Drink on the Couch While the Rest of These Jerks Gawk at Leaves
October 5, 2022 | Seth GarlandIt’s no longer fashionable to rip on pumpkin beers, cozy-sweater-cocoa zombies or Nickelback. It’s been done. It’s worn out. Pumpkin spice is far too ubiquitous to fight any longer. The war’s been fought and to the victor go the gourd-flavored spoils. We’ve lost.
As hot girl summer slowly morphs into beer belly autumn, there are few activities more confusing to the aliens documenting our earthling lives than leaf-peeping.
Outer Range Brewing | Nuclear Powder DIPA
March 29, 2022 | Lindsay SimpsonOuter Range Brewing in Frisco, Colorado has become quite well known for their perfectly crafted IPAs. From west coast pine flavors to east coast tropical flavors, you can find something on the menu to cure your hop craving. Rightfully so, the taproom is always bustling with locals and tourists alike enjoying the product of their hard work. With such success it would be easy to become complacent. So in the age of dry hopping beers for flavor where do you go? That’s where cryo hops come in. Their recent DIPA Nuclear Powder showcases this type of hop to bring more variety to their menu.

Outer Range Brewing Co. | Pop Top NEIPA
August 16, 2021 | Dane SkousenSince 2016, Outer Range Brewing has been a consistent and popular spot for thirsty travelers passing through Frisco, Colorado looking for Belgian and IPA options. As an unashamed-to-admit hazy IPA fanboy (yes, we even have groups!), Outer Range was always on my radar when perusing the massive craft beer selections, especially in Denver. While I appreciate a brewery that can knock out a “one-hit wonder” beer, my admiration goes to breweries that make each beer a winner; that is rare, even in the secluded world of hazy IPAs. Outer Range Pop Top is one of those beers, an exemplary tropical hazy IPA with the uniquely engineered Cryo Pop Original Blend, which maximizes hop aromatics.

What We’re Drinking | December 15, 2017
December 15, 2017 | Constance Del RioI don’t know about you, but I am still shocked by the FCC’s Net Neutrality repeal vote yesterday. I really thought our government would do better for the American people! I am also putting my faith into the many groups that are filing lawsuits to reverse this decision. On a brighter note, our PorchDrinking crew are spending this pre-holiday week drinking some great brews. Light the fire, get cozy, and see What We’re Drinking.
