Odell Small Batch Festival 2023 | 16 Years In and Still Shining
June 5, 2023 | Jaclyn MenendezThe Odell Small Batch Festival, hosted by Odell Brewing Company, wisely stamped “RAIN OR SHINE” on all invitations and tickets for their June 3rd event this past weekend. A testament to their many years in Fort Collins, Colorado, they knew they were taking a gamble on hosting an outdoor beer festival during the unpredictable early summer weather of the mountains. But that gamble paid off: this year’s Small Batch Festival was arguably the best that Odell has ever hosted. And yes, it rained.
Event Recap | Odell Small Batch Fest Delivers Big
June 3, 2019 | Katie CoakleyI blame it on my brain. It was a gorgeous, sunny day in Fort Collins, Colorado, as I headed into Odell Brewing Co.’s Small Batch Fest on the brewery’s spacious campus May 25. The 15+ bike racks that quickly filled up should have been one clue; the list of more than 40 beers that were being poured should have been another. Yet, as I handed over my ticket and received my globe tasting glass (no shot glasses here) and tokens, part of me was still expecting a “small” festival.
Nope. Small Batch is not small festival. The party was in full swing by 1:30 p.m. with live music alternating on two stages and six different locations pouring Odell’s stellar brews. From year-round favorites like 90 Shilling and Easy Street to limited releases like the Hammer Chain (a fresh grind Double IPA to pilot beers and even retired brews like the Green Coyote, a tomatillo sour ale, it was a festival for the senses. The hardest part? Deciding where to start.
Odell Brewing Co. Small Batch 2019 | Pour List Preview
May 22, 2019 | Jaclyn MenendezOdell Brewing Co. is back with their annual Small Batch Festival, one of the more laid-back and downright pleasant beer festivals you could hope to attend this spring. Despite their recent expansion to Denver’s RiNo district, the festival is staying true to its roots and will occur at their original Fort Collins site. (It’s hard to argue with that logic, since the back patio at their Fort Collins brewery is routinely touted as the best place to enjoy a beer in the entire city.) On Saturday, May 25th, festival-goers will get to enjoy over 40 different Odell beers, live music on two stages, and a round-up of local food trucks. Tickets cost $40 and get you four 6-oz pours of a wide variety of Odell classics, rarities, and special firkin tappings. Read More

What’s great about Odell Brewing Company (besides the fact that it has an employee stock ownership plan) is the brewery’s ability to produce high quality beer no matter the style or the size of production. From the Fort Collins brewery’s core line up, to one-off specialty taproom ales, to its Cellar Series barrel-aged beers, I always know that an Odell beer is going to deliver.

April 14, 2016 | Chris WallnerOdell Brewing Company last hosted Small Batch Festival in 2012, and while the event was an amazing success, the brewery has been quite busy in the years since — They expanded their footprint (Iowa and Texas,) updated their seasonal lineup (Brombeere here, Double Pilsner gone,) released a handful of new bombers (such as Brazzle and Pina Agria,) created a seasonal variety pack (Montage,) and completed brewery construction. Having accomplished so much the past few years, Odell is ready to bring back the Small Batch Festival and hopes to make it an annual event. Adam D’Antonio from Odell said “production comes first and festivals second. We didn’t want to bring Small Batch back until we were ready and could do it right.” Read More
