What We’re Drinking | June 26, 2020

What We're Drinking
Brandon Cohran

It has been a busy and quite exhausting year so far, and these last two weeks have seemed no different. Even though there has been a lot of reopening nationwide, some places (including Georgia where I am) have had less success than others during this time. Many people have enjoyed that first draft pint while others wait still. For those of you waiting, stay strong. It will be worth it. In the meantime, here’s What We Have Been Drinking for the last two weeks.

The Beachcomber | Mason Ale Works

Sabroconut Island DDH IPA | Saint Arnold Brewing Company

Hoptimum 2020 | Sierra Nevada Brewing Company

Ninja Vs. Unicorn | Pipeworks Brewing Co.

Second Son | Mason Ale Works

Pliny for President | Russian River Brewing Company

On the Shoot | Gunwhale Ales

Watch for Falling Coconuts | Hop Butcher for the World

Porter | Carillon Brewing Co.

We spent last evening in the gorgeous beer garden at Carillon Brewing. It was good to be back at this brewery that means so much to us, and is such a treasure for the Dayton beer community and anyone in the beer world with a passion for brewing history. After three months of unplanned lagering, the beers are drinking well too, especially Porter. The rustic edges of the malt bill have sanded off and the body is soft and smooth. Get yourself to Carillon and enjoy a pint in the shade (and also, I’m so happy they’re finally using branded glassware – makes photos so much more appealing). #historybythepint #carillonbrewing #carillonbrewingco #historicalbeer #historicalbrewing #brewinghistory #ohiocraftbeer #drinkbeermadehere #drinkbeermadehereohio #drinkohiobeer #inspiredbydayton #daytoninspires #937beer #porter #beergarden
