Roadhouse Brewing Co. | Mountain Jam Vol. 8 Hazy IPA

Roadhouse Brewing Co. | Mountain Jam Vol. 8 Hazy IPA

There are many things in life that pair well with great craft beer. One of the most notable experiences that pair very well, if not the best, is music! One such craft beer we’ve tried recently that we’ve thoroughly enjoyed that has ties to music is Mountain Jam Vol. 8 from Roadhouse Brewing Co.

Mountain Jam Vol. 8 is a Hazy IPA brewed with Talus, Cashmere, Galaxy and Pacific Sunrise hops that come together to create a beautiful bouquet of tropical flavors. Big notes of fruit and tropical flavors are prominent up front, with what seems to be a hint of strawberry coming in on the back end. It finishes out with some mild hop bitterness that dissipates fairly quickly.

Mountain Jam Vol. 8 is brewed in collaboration with Railroad Earth, a bluegrass-influenced Americana band. This beer, and the series it belongs to, are a celebration of the special relationship between beer and music. This is something we can get behind for certain!

We can picture ourselves sitting on a back porch somewhere out in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with the sun sinking low and the soft strumming of a banjo. The notes, just like the beer in the can, signaling the end of a long day at work and its finally time to unwind and set your mind free.

The glimmer of a small fire in the fire pit brings just enough heat for the sudden chill coming from the sun going down. Yes, this is definitely the way to enjoy this beer! Well, we can snap out of our daydream and tell you that you can enjoy this beer anytime really though, it’s that good. As we often say though, don’t take our word for it. Go seek out this unique take on a Hazy IPA, you won’t be disappointed!
