In addition to the 300+ beers being poured, a formidable collection of local restaurants offer a smorgasbord of food along with planned and impromptu musical acts throughout the day scattered across the Paso Robles Event Center grounds.

2025 Collaboration Fest Recap

Another epic Collaboration Fest has come and gone, leaving us with memories of a great day spent with all our beer drinking friends. Nearly 2,000 attendees got to sample over 130 different beers crafted by a record 180+ breweries. Collaboration Fest continues to stand out amongst a crowded field of beer festivals for its brewer-centric feel. Colorado Brewers Guild Executive Director Shawnee Adelson explains it thusly: “We like to say that it is a brewers party that the public is invited to, and because of that it feels like a class reunion for many.”

Feast Wilmington returned for its second year March 29 and 30 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The jam-packed weekend included three events to feature the area’s food and beverage scene. Things kicked off with Craft and Cuisine Saturday afternoon, and were followed by the classy Pier Party Saturday night. No Sunday morning would be complete without brunch, so the weekend concluded with Brunch Elevated.

Despite much news to the contrary, the beer festival as we know it is not dead. While your mom and pop fest featuring a couple local breweries’ standard pours is indeed not doing well in the current climate, there is still room for a top notch festival featuring the best breweries and their best beers to thrive. One of our favorite time for beer throughout the year has returned. Barrel-aged beer season is finally back! The onset of November always signals the perfect time to cozy up to some barrel-aged Stouts, Porters, Wilds, and Sours. And what better way to commemorate the season than with the return of the Festival of Barrel-Aged Beer (FoBAB), one of the best showcases of barrel-aged beers in the country.
The results are IN and we now know all of the big award winners from this year’s 2024 Festival of Wood and Barrel-Aged Beers (FoBAB). This year’s 22nd annual FoBAB was once again a spectacular success showcasing the country’s absolute best producers in the wood and barrel-aged beer categories.

The 15th running of Denver’s Rare Beer Festival saw one major change–the venue. Previously hosted at the McNichols Civic Center Building and before that, Wynkoop Brewing, election year-related scheduling conflicts at McNichols meant that Rare Beers needed a new home. Given that many visitors and brewers in town for GABF already make a yearly pilgrimage to Bierstadt Lagerhaus between convention shifts, the new venue was a natural fit.
