Here’s the deal, people: Jobs are terrible. People who have never actually done my job spend hours telling me how I shoud do it. It’s so infuriating that I had to edit several f-bombs out of this piece already. Luckily, I have beer. It allows me to relax. Anyway… Here’s some stuff from Twitter and Instagram. Enjoy The Weekly Buzz!
This week has been an absolute nightmare. I have been working ridiculous hours at my day job, and the cell service in my office isn’t even good enough to load Twitter. Luckily, Wednesday was Independence Day, so I had plenty of holiday posts to choose from. Prepare to feel very patriotic. It’s time to crack open The Weekly Buzz.
We here at PorchDrinking hope that you spent this week’s holy days surrounded by friends, family and fine craft beers. April Fool’s Day is a sacred tradition that MUST be observed annually, so that we may keep our rich heritage of tomfoolery alive and vibrant. Without it, we would lose a large piece of what we are as a species. To that end, here is a celebration of nonsense and shenanigans. This is The Weekly Buzz.
Have you ever had one of those weeks where you’re completely and totally scatterbrained? I am having one right now. I can’t believe I even managed to pull together this modest collection of social media nonsense. It just goes to show that you can complete any task if you procrastinate until the last possible second and then scroll through Twitter at a frantic pace. So, in honor of my half-assery – which may or may not be a word – let’s raise a glass and dive into The Weekly Buzz.
Instead of bringing you a bunch of small beer news stories, this week I’m bringing you four HUGE beer news stories. As an added bonus, most of them have videos included just in case you don’t feel like reading today. To sum it up: Dogfish Head promoted a new CEO, Stone announced its new brewery location, New Holland broke ground on a new site, and breweries are teaming up to bring us cleaner water. Read on to get all the details in this edition of the Weekly Growler Fill.
