The Weekly Buzz | March 31 – April 6
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, “Work is for suckers.” The overtime checks are nice, but the more time I spend at work, the less time I can spend tirelessly searching Twitter on your behalf. My employers just don’t understand that I like my readers more than I like them. I sacrificed my own health and well-being by forgoing sleep and compiling this week’s edition of The Weekly Buzz.
Why? Because I like you!
New job alert!

Bet they’ll be Having a Blast… Get it? Like the song!
How legitimately cool @ratiobeerworks is. They're making Green Day tribute beer to be served to them at their show on 4/5 @ 1st Bank Arena.

Very Special Announcement…We are happy to announce that effective today, Sole Artisan Ales has acquired Two Rivers Brewing Company. Thank you to all of our customers for their support. Founder Joe Percoco sees this as a natural progression in his bid to own all of Easton. Sole hopes to be able to use Two Rivers to satisfy increased European demand for their product. Josh Bushey will stay on as Head Tank Cleaner and Troy Reynard will become Joe Percoco's Personal Barista and Bicycle Maintenance Technician. The construction of a sky-bridge has been proposed to connect both breweries, starting from the free bridge and continuing to the top of Northampton Street. At the moment, it is unclear weather or not @tworiversbrewing's GABF medal for Adjunct-heavy Fruited Saison brewed with leftover ingredients will carry over to the new joint venture, but Percoco's team of lawyers will be working all weekend to settle with the Brewers Association. For more information, please check out @lehighvalleylive for their exclusive interview conducted by Chief Instagram Analyst Andrew Doerfler.

We're proud to present our newest seasonal creation: Stone #AsparagusIPA – a bright, hoppy beer with a robust, pungent aroma and rich golden hue. Look for it this summer. "This unfiltered IPA features real vegetable matter in suspension in each bottle. It’s guaranteed to bring joy to the palate of the asparagus loving beer drinker," says Stone co-founder and Executive Chairman Greg Koch. "It just reeks of deliciousness. And you’ll be aromatically reminded of your good choice on every visit to the bathroom. We are flushed with excitement about this one.” #StoneBrewing #TrueIndependentCraft

Adopt an ambassador, get a chance to win great beer!
Some of the animals that end up at the Center for Wildlife don’t always get released back into the wild, because they aren’t afraid of humans or predators, or because they can’t survive on their own. These animals become ambassadors for the Center, and assist in educating the community about the importance of wildlife. Our favorite ambassador is Henry the porcupine, who visited our brewery last summer and stole our hearts (especially Ben’s!) To help the Center for Wildlife care for these animals, you can go to their website and “adopt” an ambassador for $25.00. For the month of April, if you adopt an ambassador from the Center for Wildlife, you will be entered to win a case of our beer at the end of the month! The contest winner must be able to pick up their case of beer at the brewery in Freeport, Maine, and brands of beer are subject to availability. https://www.thecenterforwildlife.org/adoptions @centerforwildlife @1percentftp #dowhatsright #porcupinesofinstagram

No more “line life” here!
Hey folks! We've got more bottles coming, but before we put em out there, we wanted to make an announcement about how we're going to be handling bottles going forward: We will no longer be announcing bottles and scheduling "releases". It's admittedly worked out well for us, and it's incredibly flattering that so many of you are willing to line up or otherwise show up to try and buy us out, but it can be very off putting to our less "in the know" customers, and we also don't expect everybody to schedule their lives around when we plan on selling something Going forward, we'll be announcing bottles the day they're available, like we do with draft beer, and we'll do our best to keep a selection around all the time. And, if something you guys really like runs out, we'll even make more! It's only beer Thanks, and happy drinking!
