April 14, 2020 |

I first wrote about Forager Brewery’s plan to launch Humble Forager Brewery in November 2019. Forager’s new brand and distribution brewery, Humble Forager, was a necessary move by co-owners Austin Jevne and Annie Henderson to begin distributing their beers to Minnesota, Wisconsin and select locations in the Southeast beginning this year.

Forager Brewing Company Launches Humble Forager

November 12, 2019 |

Last month, Forager Brewing Company‘s head brewer, Austin Jevne, took to social media to announce the brewery’s latest adventure: a new brand and distribution brewery, Humble Forager Brewery.

Contract brewing out of Octopi Brewing in Waunakee, WI, Humble Forager will use some of FBC’s favorite recipes to create a series of rotating pastry stouts, hazy DIPAs and fruited sour ales. The beers will be distributed to bars and liquor stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota and select locations in the Southeast in early 2020.

The OGs of Craft Beer | New Glarus Brewing Co. – Spotted Cow

August 7, 2018 | 3

In 2001, I was a bartender at a joint in Wausau, Wisconsin called Loppnow’s Sports Bar. Here’s a look at six breweries that stood out in our tour of the Midwest.

New Glarus Brewing Co. | Spotted Cow

June 13, 2016 |

ABV: 4.9%

It’s been said that the best things in life are worth working for – a new job, your dream car, that perfect house. The work put in makes the end goal that much more rewarding. While the motto normally applies to loftier, greater goals, the same can be said for New Glarus Brewing Co.’s Spotted Cow. Only available in Wisconsin, Spotted Cow has been a favorite of mine since I began making college visits to my brother Mark when he attended Marquette University almost 10 years ago and continues on today (except now it’s little brother Matt holding it down in The Good Land).
