Dry Dock Brewing in Aurora, Colorado, celebrates their Sweet 16 anniversary on October 16 with a huge bash at their North Dock taproom. Naturally the main focus will be the beer, and Dry Dock is rolling out an unheard-of 47 brews of every conceivable style.
July is Lake Appreciation Month across our great nation! The North American Lake Management Society sponsors this event each year and hopes everyone will take time to enjoy lakes in their home states. I’m not going to lie to you. I barely got on Twitter this week, and the bulk of that time was arguing the pronunciation of Hefeweizen with some podcasters. What better way to symbolize the greatness of craft beer than relating it to one of history’s greatest children’s book authors? Recently I picked up a six-pack of Dry Dock Brewing Co.’s newest beer Dry Dock IPA. My attention was immediately drawn to a quote on the top of each can. I had been reading Dr. Seuss to my 4-year old son so, naturally, I connected the two.
Dry Dock Brewing Co. celebrates its 11th anniversary this weekend with an exciting tasting of specialty, rare, and vintage beers at its North Dock location (2801 Tower Road). The party goes from 12pm – 5pm on Saturday and tickets are just $35, which can be purchased here.
