What We’re Drinking | November 12, 2021
November 12, 2021 | Seth GarlandThere’s something in the air today. Airborne disease? Probably. Pollution? Definitely — but there’s also something less tangible. Maybe it’s the godforsaken time change that turns early afternoon into pitch-black night for those of us living north of the 37th parallel.
Maybe it’s existential dread hanging over all of our heads like poorly (and prematurely) hung misletoe — inviting us in for a germ-filled kiss of death to kick off the holiday season. Or maybe it’s just a head cold.

They have the perfect combination of being refreshing and low-alcohol, with a smoky character to complement whatever’s cooking on the grill. Read More
pFriem Family Brewers | Pilsner
September 18, 2018 | Jeremy FuerstPilsners tell the truth about a brewer’s acumen and prowess as there is no place to hide within pilsners; many beer connoisseurs rely on pilsners as a litmus test for a brewery’s overall quality. If beer styles were musical compositions, then pilsners would be the Inventions and Sinfonias of Johann Sebastian Bach. And trust us when we say that discerning beer lovers want to give pFriem Pilsner a careful listen.
pfriem Family Brewers | Belgian Strong Dark
March 24, 2017 | Kara Loo and Kelissa HieberOn a trip to Oregon back in June 2016 we were able to visit so many breweries with really amazingly consistent quality! Oh, and it’s pronounced “FREE-um,” as a waitress helpfully clarified for us.
