Beerstagram | June 22 – June 29
Hello Beerstagram friends! We have a long holiday weekend ahead! What are you most looking forward to: camping, grilling, fireworks, fishing, going to the pool, baseball, fireworks, a craft beer?! Probably all of the above because they all sound amazing. We wish you a safe and festive Fourth of July. See you back here again next week, cheers!
Double the bubble, double the fun. Visiting my nieces, I can be assured of two things: bubble time and local beers. When I wasn't busy teaching her the names of beers I wanted her mom to be on the lookout for, my oldest niece served as my photography assistant. In this instance, she tirelessly used her bubble blower until I got the perfect shot. Bubbler, a hefeweizen from New Glarus, was a standout from my recent visit. Full of flavor, from cloves and peppercorn to banana and bubblegum, Bubbler embodies a summer brew with a crisp and refreshing quality that makes it hard to stop at one. It's an appropriate name then, since no one is ever satisfied with blowing just one bubble. My niece, and myself, are perfect examples of that.
Take it easy before the holiday weekend and enjoy this low-ABV sour ale from @newburghbrewing. Checkpoint Charlie is a riff on the classic Berliner Weisse that has notes of lemon and cracked wheat with a soft acidity that clocks in at only 3%! – Gracing the shelves at our @westfieldworldtradecenter location as we speak.
