In honor of one year of calling the former Stapleton International Airport Control Tower home, aviation-themed FlyteCo Brewing is hosting an anniversary weekend complete with a free community drone show and fundraiser, August 19-21. The event takes place on Sat., August 19 – coinciding with National Aviation Day–featuring a fundraiser for I Hart Flying Foundation, which provides flight training scholarships to aspiring women pilots. Tickets can be found here for $100 and include dinner, drink tickets, door prizes and access to on-site games including golf simulators, axe throwing, bowling, mini golf and arcade games.

As we head into one of the biggest weekends in the beer industry, we know one thing’s for sure, you can’t go wrong with our Colorado craft breweries! Grab a beer…or three while you take in the fireworks around the state, and bask in all that we have here in the State of Craft Beer.
Trying to come up with something to do later in July? Why not head over to LUKI Brewing for their third-anniversary celebration on July 22? Their “cabinet of curiosities” themed celebration includes performances by Soul Penny Circus, live music and special anniversary beer releases, and it concludes with a TV game show night.
Stem Ciders | Apricot Haze

For beer drinkers segueing into cider, cider lovers looking for something different, or anyone who loves high quality fruit-forward beverages made with fresh ingredients, Colorado’s Stem Ciders are fermenting up a storm with a range of dry and flavored ciders made with pressed juice from Pacific-Northwest apples and adjuncts ranging from chile-guava to lavender, salted cucumber to carrot-ginger-turmeric. Determined to win over new drinkers from outside the cider community, Stem have created their newest release, Apricot Haze, especially with beer lovers in mind, using an unusual technique to replicate the hop punch of a hazy IPA, paired with a bright, refreshing apricot base.

With February coming to a close shortly, we’ll be looking ahead to the first weekend in March. FlyteCo Brewing and New Image Brewing will both be celebrating their anniversaries in style! FlyteCo will be hosting a 4-day party March 2-5. With special tappings, karaoke, a DJ and even a hangover brunch, you won’t run out of things to do. Meanwhile, New Image will be releasing five new beers (including some incredible barrel-aged beers), as well as having live music in the afternoon on March 4.
