On International Podcast Day, we’re honoring one podcast that prioritizes not only “indie” beer, but also bringing craft beer lovers together in a way that is unique to other podcasts. The Perfect Pour isn’t your standard beer education podcast but instead fosters a community unlike any other, bridging craft beer lovers across states and even countries. The Perfect Pour calls itself the “beer geek fun podcast,” and to be fair there are quite a few shenanigans, but you will be sucked into the Perfect Pour world within a few episodes, establishing yourself as the newest show rep and organizing a “Get It.” Take a quick tour with Mikey, Matt, and Nick down Memory Lane. These beers below either have contributed to the general ethos of the podcast or have been recommended by a listener as “the beer that sums up The Perfect Pour.” Enjoy!

Cheers to trying new beer experiences, even if it means submerging yourself in a hot tub full of beer ingredients! PorchDrinkers have a cool lineup of diverse beers and we are all over the country sharing this week’s What We’re Drinking.

Below we’ll discuss some of the most notable wine barrel-aged beers that I’ve had the chance to try to date, and how the aging process has impacted the quality and characteristics of these beers.
It’s been another fun week on Beer Twitter! There has been so much going on that a bunch of things probably slipped past my net. Either way, I’ve got a fun collection of stuff for you in this week’s edition of The Weekly Buzz, so make sure your boss isn’t around, crack open a beer and start scrolling!
In an age when names like Assassin, CBS, Duck Duck Gooze, Hunahpu and Medianoche are uttered with extreme reverence among craft beer fanatics, Russian River Brewing‘s Pliny the Younger still manages to carry the same clout and cult following well over a decade after its debut.
In an age when cult beers have grown to become more and more plentiful. The standard bearer that still moves the needle when it comes to the zenith of release hype begins and ends with Russian River’s Russian River Brewing‘s Pliny the Younger.
