ANNOUNCEMENT! | PorchDrinking Brewing Company Opening
April 1, 2015 | Tristan ChanOn behalf of the entire PorchDrinking.com team we are extremely excited to announce the forthcoming opening of PorchDrinking Brewing Company. After nearly three years of existence as solely a craft beer and lifestyle blog, we are thrilled to move into the next phase of our site’s evolution with a brick and mortar brewery. Our hope is to capture the PorchDrinking experience, not just by writing about beer, but by actually brewing it for all of our fans to enjoy.
Event Recap | Fuss Off
March 30, 2015 | Chris Day
When hearing about a beer event, my first questions are usually “who’s pouring?” and “where is it?” With an unannounced list of breweries and a secret location that wouldn’t be disclosed until the morning of the event, Fuss Off offered precious few details, but the association with the Colorado Brewers Guild brought the promise of something interesting. Did I really want to spend an evening with people dressed in insufferable “hipster” costumes? Read More

Festival Recap | 2015 Collaboration Fest
March 24, 2015 | Cory Pelc 1
Only into its second year of existence and Collaboration Fest shows its teeth and flexes its community-grown muscles. The Denver-based festival boasted lots of brewer cameos both near and far. Last year, in its infancy, the festival came together to celebrate the collaboration and/or cooperation that runs rampant in the craftbeer industry by showcasing beers made by multiple brewers from different breweries for this one of a kind festival. The festival accomplished this and so much more in year one. Fast forward to 2015, in an upgraded and more accommodating venue, Sports Authority Field at Mile High, we got to mill around and talk shop with many a brewer and imbiber alike to see just why this was one of the most anticipated festivals of the year in Denver.
