Ski resorts are starting to open, which must mean it is October in Colorado. While you get your shred on for the rest of the ski season, 31 Colorado brewery openings across the state are due to open during October, November and December.
It’s been a ridiculously great week of PorchDrinking. Our staff cracked into some truly great beers, which should make you VERY jealous. Whether you’re in the mood for beers that are black as the night, sour as a lemon or hoppy like… well… a hop, we have a beer for you. This is What We’re Drinking!

It was the night after a long day, and my girlfriend Kelissa and I walked the halls of our new apartment building in search of beer. “Let’s try this door,” I suggested, veering right. We emerged from the musty stairwell, and lo and behold, River North Brewery stood shining in Belgian golden glory. We ambled across the street and went inside.
