BREAKING | 2024 World Beer Cup Results Announced
April 24, 2024 | PorchDrinking.com StaffIt wasn’t all just hitting the sprawling buffets and blackjack tables at this week’s Craft Brewers Conference. There were some additional big winners as some of the world’s top breweries were once again recognized today at the 2024 World Beer Cup.
This year’s World Beer Cup awards took place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, as part of this year’s Craft Brewers Conference. Launched by the Brewers Association in 1996 to celebrate brewing and brewers across the world, the World Beer Cup is often referred to as “The Olympics of Beer Competitions.”

This year, the conference will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada from April 21-24. We caught up with the Brewers Association ahead of this year’s event to highlight a bit of what’s to come – and to provide a few tips to attendees to get the most out of their CBC experience.

May 5, 2022 | Emma Wargolet 1The winners of the World Beer Cup were announced on Thursday, May 5, 2022 in Minneapolis, MN, as part of this year’s Craft Brewers Conference. The World Beer Cup competition was launched by the Brewers Association in 1996 to celebrate brewing and brewers across the world and is often referred as “The Olympics of Beer Competitions”. It is typically held every other year, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 awards were canceled, meaning that the last time these awards were given out was in 2018.

BREAKING | Colorado Breweries Win Big at 2016 World Beer Cup

The competition featured breweries from across the world competing in 96 categories, and Colorado’s contingent scored top marks taking home 37 medals, including 12Degree Brewing which took home World Beer Cup Champion Brewery and Brewmaster of the year in the Small Brewpub category.
