We here at PorchDrinking.com believe in all of our libations being well-crafted, and this doesn’t fall short in the AM when we need a quick pick-me-up. Denver is seeing a resurgence of craft coffee and artisan roasters, and we aren’t the only ones taking note. So, it only makes sense that we are getting hella stoked on Denver’s upcoming caffeinated invitational, the Grand Coffee Bazaar. Our down-ass-homies over at Imbibe are throwing this first-of-its-kind event, promising deliciously roasted beans, brews carefully prepared from a variety of mechanisms and methods, brunch foods via food trucks, specialty coffee libations and craft beer.
For a little over a week each year, beer fanatics from across the globe descend on Denver, CO, in honor of the Great American Beer Festival. Denver’s events outside of the beerhall are sometimes better than the festival itself. We’ve compiled the complete GABF Events Guide surrounding this year’s Great American Beer Festival.
This week, folks from across the country will flock to Denver, Colorado for the Great American Beer Festival. While here, they’ll partake in one of the greatest events our city hosts, undoubtedly stumbling upon beautiful architecture, delicious food, and incredible people during their stay.
Fall in Colorado is host to indescribable mountain beauty, and what a shame it is that GABF visitors might only catch a glimpse of the changing Aspen trees from an airplane flying in. When: Wednesday, October 1, 6–10 p.m.
Where: Oriental Theatre, Denver, CO

It also means that you need to check out Offensively Delicious, a pre-Great American Beer Festival event that mixes a comedy show and beer fest with a “we’re giving money to a no-kill shelter” cherry on top.
There are many things that make the state of Colorado so distinctly unique, the west-ward mountains who’s beauty evolves with the passing time of day or weather. There’s also the people, a melting pot of transplants and a few very proud natives who …
Cincinnati Brew Ha-Ha is a treat for anyone who loves craft beer, laughing, and friends. If you hate fun, it’s probably not for you. I look forward to this event every year perhaps more so than even—and I am hesitant to admit this— Cincinnati Beer Fest.
Last Thursday, the Denver Performing Arts Complex hosted Eat Denver‘s fifth annual Big Eat, a glorious gustatory celebration of Denver’s independent restaurants. The event featured bites from dozens of the city’s best restaurants along with samples of craft beer, wine, and spirits. Fellow Porchdrinker Chelsea Mitchell and I braved this sea of food and drink to bring you a recap of the night’s festivities.
