The Craft Beer Marketing Awards Enters Its Third Season

The Craft Beer Marketing Awards (CBMA) will be holding its third year of competition in 2022. The first ceremony was held in 2020, but had to go fully virtual due to global COVID-19 shutdowns. Although this timing was unfortunate, it went over extremely well, so the CBMA was held as a hybrid ceremony in 2021, where more than 195 awards were presented. The plan is to hold a fully in-person awards ceremony (with a virtual feed) during the week of the May 2022 Craft Brewers Conference in Minneapolis.

The Texas Craft Brewers Guild hosted its annual festival at Austin’s Fiesta Gardens on Saturday, October 23. After the festival pivoted to an online event last November, brewers and consumers were eager to return in person to this tremendously popular celebration of all things Texas beer, with over 85 breweries from across the state serving up over 200 beers to thirsty visitors. Both VIP and General Admission tickets sold out in advance, signaling the excitement for the first major Texas beer festival since Covid restrictions lifted.

2021 Texas Craft Brewers Festival Beer List Announced

The Texas Craft Brewers Festival, featuring more than 85 craft breweries, returns October 23, 2021, to Fiesta Gardens in Austin, TX. The event, which is organized by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild is the state’s largest beer event focused exclusively on Texas-brewed craft beer.

Meow Wolf Denver Unveils Craft Beer Options for Convergence Station Opening

This Friday, Meow Wolf, the innovative immersive arts and entertainment company will open its doors to its third location in Denver, CO. Collaborating with 200 in-house artists as well as 110 local artists including muralists, sculptors, fiber artists and technologists, Denver’s outpost dubbed the Convergence Station tells the narrative of a freak cosmic event that merged four worlds from different universes, erasing the memories of all residents and spawning the mystifying disappearances of four women in the form of a massive immersive art experience.

And while there will be no commercial tasting event open to the public for a second straight year, tonight’s awards are still sure to usher in socially distanced causes for celebration among breweries across the entire country.

Left Hand Brewing Opens New Outdoor Venue

Left Hand Brewing Co., a bastion of independent craft beer, threw a weekend-long party on Aug. 14-15, 2021 to celebrate the opening of their new outdoor venue, The Garden. The Longmont, CO-based brewery, a top 50 U.S. craft brewery well known for its Nitro series, constructed an inviting, 41,000 square foot open-air event space right next to their taproom. The dog-friendly space is anchored by a custom-made ROXBOX bar with six draft lines and plenty of fridge space for a variety of canned beverages.
