Breweries like to go big on their anniversary. Usually a party, special tappings, food trucks, and sometimes, a special beer. Ska Brewing in Durango, Colorado celebrates their anniversary with live ska bands and around 25 guest breweries pouring shaker glasses full of beer for thirsty partygoers. With COVID in full swing last September, the team made the tough decision to cancel the party. This year, they went big… really big. (And I’m not just talking about the Mighty Mighty Bosstones headlining the sold-out party.)

Week 3 felt like it was one of the more “expected” weeks of the season. You never really know what’s going to happen in Fantasy Football, but for the most part, a lot of stars with tough matchups were kept in check, looking at you Scary Terry and, well, all of the Chicago Bears. Epic Brewing | 2021 Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout Variants Preview

For the previous 10 years, Epic Brewing of Utah and Colorado produces Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout, a stout aged in whiskey barrels with added cacao nibs and coffee. It is a delightful beer, the ingredient flavors are recognizable, and it is high in ABV at 11.7%. Since 2016, Epic Brewing each year produces variants with this year’s batch showing fulfilling and fun achievements.
To start, the just-released 2021 line-up features six variants: Naked Baptist, In The Rye, Black Forest Cake, Double Barrel, Double Jam and Chocolate Mint. All are available across retail partners across Colorado starting September 30 and customers are able to order online for pick up from September 30 – October 11.

2021 Texas Craft Brewers Festival Beer List Announced

The Texas Craft Brewers Festival, featuring more than 85 craft breweries, returns October 23, 2021, to Fiesta Gardens in Austin, TX. The event, which is organized by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild is the state’s largest beer event focused exclusively on Texas-brewed craft beer.

Week 2 of the NFL season brought us a myriad of entertaining games, comebacks and unfortunate losses. Looking at you, my poor, poor pitiful Falcons. What the hell was that? Seriously. A lot of the expected stars shined bright while others have yet to show up. Josh Allen and the Bills lit up the scoreboard while underwhelming the fantasy score sheet. Sunday Night Football featured the Kansas City Chiefs visiting Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens and was one of the best football games, at any level, in recent memory. Whether you’re celebrating a W or staring at another L, just know we’re here with you. Grab a beer and see how our matchups went down this week.
